A month sidebar beside your year, meeting reminders, 27 clock presets, and a more personal calendar.
- Added a resizable month sidebar beside one or two years. Click a date in the year view to see its events in the sidebar while keeping the year overview visible. Available in the menu bar popup and separate windows.
- Added a layout menu with all six calendar layouts. Any layout can also be selected as the default opening view.
- Separate calendar windows now remember their own layouts, dates, selections, sizes, and positions across app restarts. New windows start with the menu bar calendar's configuration.
- Menu bar calendar sizes are now remembered separately for each display by default.
- Added an option to automatically advance panels showing the current month or year when the date changes. Enabled by default.
- Added optional notifications for calendar events and saved date ranges, with configurable timing, sound, all-day reminders, meeting filtering, and snooze.
- Added fullscreen meeting reminders with Join Meeting, Snooze, Open Event, and Dismiss actions. Customize their size, display, background, opacity, and opening and closing animations.
- Added reminders a specified number of calendar months before an event, with an option to preserve the last day of the month.
- Expanded the clock gallery to 27 analog, digital, and hybrid presets. New designs include sculpted and glass faces, orbital clocks, rotating rings, daylight displays, kinetic petals, and distinctive digital fonts.
- Added clock dial previews and a live preview that stays visible while browsing the gallery. Analog clocks now offer sweeping seconds, ticking seconds, a natural bounce, or a hidden second hand.
- Added random backgrounds from built-in images or a chosen folder. Change backgrounds at startup, whenever the popup opens, or manually from the gear menu.
- Added separate text size controls for month and year views, plus font weight and color options for weekday headings and week numbers.
- Event circles can now be monochrome, calendar-colored, or hidden, with adjustable opacity. Date text adapts to the visible background for readability. New installations use monochrome circles at 50% opacity.
- Organized calendar actions into a gear menu. Export a calendar screenshot without selecting dates, with the date and time automatically included in its filename.
- Added an app language selector that follows the system language by default.
- Added an option to hide the menu bar icon while keeping the app accessible through the Dock.
- Redesigned Settings with sidebar navigation, clearer background controls, and contextual previews. Updated Welcome and About information.
- Improved calendar readability and resizing, including minimum sizes that keep dates readable, square date cells at default sizes, and better use of portrait displays. Weekend shading is lighter by default.
- Added keyboard navigation to day event previews. Use Tab to focus events and Enter to open them.
- Year picker shortcuts now follow the year of the panel you clicked.
- Improved calendar opening performance, particularly with large event collections, background images, and clocks enabled.
